For this reason alone it is worth staying at the Suites. Excellent food from fish tacos to burgers to breakfast - we ate there 6 of 7 meals and everything we ate was fantastic. One of the key amenities is the restaurant that is on the property right next to the pool - Sunshine Grill. Sunshine is right across the street from the Westin which has a beautiful beach area that we were able to use as well as a public beach right next to it. The location is great assuming you don't want to pay the premium for a beach front property. The bedroom was not separated by a door but it did give us each a separate sleeping room without feeling like we were on top of each other. The room was a one bedroom suite with a small kitchenette and a small living room with TV. Every one at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My son and I spent 3 nights at the Sunshine Suites and we were very happy with the service staff, room and amenities. Liquor store, convenient store 3 min way. The walk from our hotel room to the beach was 5 min. The suite had a full kitchen, separate living room with TV and bedroom with TV. Room was so much bigger and better then what we would have had at the Westin. We had room 122.which was on the ground floor, 20 seconds from Sunshine Grill. We had the fish tacos 4 times during our stay. Amazing food! Great bar! Several large TV's for sports. the the Sunshine Grill is really a hidden secret on the island.

Hotel grounds are very well kept, pool is awesome.

you were awesome helping me navigate the trip/decision. From the moment we arrived, we knew we made the right choice. Plus you can charge to your room at the Sunshine. It's included in the $35 per day resort fee. So glad we did! As a sister property, you have full access to the Westin including beach area, chairs, workout room.etc. We had originally book at the Westin hotel, which is located 5 min across the street on the beach. My wife and I spent 8 days at the Sunshine Suites this past Jan for our 20th wedding anniversary.
